About Pastor Scott Scott Beasley is the Lead Pastor for The River Church.  He has been married to Lisa since 1988, and they have four sons...Brett, Baxter, Jackson and Carson.  Both Scott and Lisa are graduates of the University of Georgia and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, near Memphis, Tennessee.  Scott is currently enrolled at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, where he is pursuing the Doctor of Ministry degree with an emphasis in missional leadership. The River Church is their second church start in the Metro Atlanta area.  They have served in vocational church ministry since 1989.  Scott is a published author and has preached in fourteen states and six countries.  Having come into a relationship with Jesus as a college student, God has given Scott a relentless passion for Jesus Christ and a heart to see people realize their God-given potential.
