Scott and Lisa
 
Scott and Lisa Beasley married in 1988 and have been in full-time ministry since 1989. They have
four sons, Brett, Baxter, Jackson and Carson.

Both Scott and Lisa are graduates of the University of Georgia and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.  Scott is currently enrolled at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, where
he is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree.  Lisa's degree is in Child and Family Development with a Masters in Religion and Education.  The River is their second church start in the Metro Atlanta area.

Having come into a relationship with Jesus as a college student, God has given Scott a
relentless passion for Jesus Christ and a heart to see people realize their God-given potential.
